I love this card because I LOVE fall.
This card reminds me of the time I was in Maine during the fall foliage. I remember seeing a group of trees all together that had red, orange, yellow, and brown leaves. Unfortunately, we were driving when we passed it, so my picture came out blurry. =/
You know how it is...you see an incredible photo opportunity, but you know you only have milliseconds to snap the picture...not enough time to focus or frame. On one hand, I appreciate these pictures because they remind you of that moment. But at the same time, they are annoying to look at because you can't help but think: "if only I had taken 5 extra seconds to take that photo correctly..." But the truth is, you would've missed the photo altogether if you had taken those 5 extra seconds...
Anyways, here are the items I used to make this card. Originally, I saw a similar card on Archiver's web site, but they took it down before I got around to making this card. So, the idea to ink over the embossing using the Tim Holtz ink blending tool is pretty much all I remember taking away from that card sample. Oh! And I think I got the idea for the apples and the ribbon placement here. I'll do my best to acknowledge when my cards were inspired by another card. ;)
